UPDATE: #6

Hey going on?

It's been a while, has it not? As Summer comes to an end, so does the mass release of music. Below is what I currently have in, as well as some new stuff in bold. Matt Finner has taken on the role of being my sidekick when duty calls. He will be rolling with the distro to the 2 shows this weekend (see below). After that, I might be until the NOT DEAD YET festival that you will see a distro, so buy what you can now! Along with the stuff below, I have some fantastic 7"s from my collection that I am parting with. All of them are basically 5 dollars (or close to), which could very well be a steal. Tax free!

See you tomorrow!

UPDATE: #5 [EDIT #2]

Update>>>>>

RAW NERVE - MIDNIGHT 7" [Youth Attack]
- Blazing fast hardcore from Chicago. You will not find this at any record store in the world. I picked up less than a handful from the band, so if you missed out on the show on Tuesday, pick his up! Limited to 300

RAZORXFADE - S/T 12" [Not Normal]
- Ralph's (RAW NERVE) label put this out and this is what he had to say "In their debut LP, RazorXFade blaze through 10 tracks of dark, menacing hardcore. If your room is still standing afterward, you're doing it wrong." [LISTEN]

PUKEOID - Rabid 7" [Not Normal]
- "8 song rager from NWI's Pukeoid. The Rabid Dog Punk rockers return, and with them their brand of Midwestern Weirdness." [LISTEN]

V/A - THESE ARE THE VOICES IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD Cassette Compilation [Not Normal]
- "Comes housed in screened corragated cardboard containors with fold out insert/poster featuring an art collaboration between Matthew Williams (behind guinea kid, pukeoid, scabs) and Ryan Lowry (raw nerve) Red pro-tapes. Do not pass this one up.(Somewhat) International Hardcore Comp. 15 tracks from 12 bands, all mandatory. Featuring: Bog People (OR), Intifada (IL), Libyans (MA), Much Worse (MN), Positive Noise (MI), Raw Nerve (IN), Rayos X (CA), Renegades of Punk (Brazil), The State (MI), Timebombs (CA), Ultratumbados (IL), and UX Vileheads (Sweden)."

DEAD LANGUAGE - S/T 12" [Iron Lung]
- "20 minutes of pure, ear-crippling power violence played by members of IRON LUNG, SOLUTIONS, WALLS, PIG HEART TRANSPLANT and NO COMMENT. There will never be another like this. Check and mate... P.V. R.I.P." [LISTEN]

WHITE WARDS - WASTE MY TIME 7" [Iron Lung]
- "Hailing from Olympia WA, this hungry quartet hands out 6 of the meanest sound-fights that city has ever swallowed. Heavy, fast and intriguing all at the same time (not an easy feat in our opinion). Sonically they land somewhere between the Face The Music era TAR BABIES and DEVOID OF FAITH. Flip, repeat, flip, repeat, We love this record. It's easily one of the best ILR releases to date."[LISTEN]

CREAMERS - MODERN DAY 7" [Jolly Dream]
- "A straight-forward, pissed-off snot rocket fired off from a garage haunted by brats weaned on early Black Flag and Slaughter & The Dogs. “Modern Day,” the debut 7” from Austin TX Creamers, exhumes the dumbed down innocence of Killed By Death. This easily steals you back to the point before punk rock got PC and started trying to justify its own angst. The brutality comes from the attitude and not the tempo. Limited to 500 copies, all-white vinyl run, in cardstock sleeve."
[LISTEN]

AVON LADIES - DEMO 2012 Cassette [Circle Of Shit]
- Ex-H-100s and Pigeon Religion with Chris Erba on vocals. "Pure fuck-shit-up music for stomping anything". New 7" out on Katorga Works.

See you at the Harms Way/Foundation show. I'll have CREEM tapes for real this time No I won't, Nomo's didn't make it over the boarder for SPOILERFEST this past weekend, sorry. Going to pick up the CREEM tapes in NYC next weekend. Re-stock of the City Limits tape by that show as well. Buy music while you can! Here's what's in stock.

UPDATE: #4

Hey! Another Update before the show tonight. (Which is now at Siesta Nouveaux)

A few things are on their last copies include:

Creem 7"
Vogue - Pompshit LP
Milk Music - Beyond Living LP
Nightbringer 7"

I'm sold out of the CITY LIMITS Tape comp. You can find them through various people/ebay/distros or even better at HITS AND MISSES.

I have another package at the office waiting for me tonight and I'll be getting some copies of the CREEM Demo and the Rational Animals LP(Which rules). I suggest picking copies up from the band while they are here, but if you can't make it tonight, I'm sure I'll have leftovers. Speaking of which, The Wiccans/No Problem show was awesome. I have a handful of copies of the Wiccans LP if anyone didn't have a chance to pick it up. Band is amazing live. And last, I've been throwing some of my personal collection stuff in the distro. Keep checking at shows. I'll be at this too! Laterrrrr

UPDATE: #3

Quick update before the weekend! I got a few things in (were talking 1-3 copies each) that I'll have at both the Sunday and Tuesday shows. Sorry this is short and sweet, I'll let the music do the talking.

BRAIN SLUG Demo Cassette [Self Released]
- "Dudes from Long Island making fine NYHC with a hint of Boston in there. Definitely keep your eyes on this band."

KENT STATE "SPAHN RANCH E.P." Cassette [Self Released]
- 'psychedelic death pop' from one of the dudes in DEEP SLEEP. Sounds awesome, I'm keeping one for myself.

BIRTH CONTROL - "GOING TO TARGET" 7" [Fashionable Idiots]
- "Philadelphia, PA's Birth Control feature members of Pissed Jeans and don't stray too far from the Jeans' formula, playing dirty, noisy punk with demented vocals. Another hit!"

BRAIN F "RESTRAINING ORDER" 7" [Static Shock]
- Featuring members of Logic Problem and Grids.. Male/Female punk in the vein of X (US and AUS).

CONDOMINIUM - "GAG" 7" [Deer Healer]
- Minnesota Noise punks back again. If you don't have this by now you should really pick it up. Then try tracking down the rest of this band's 7's. Great stuff.

DIGITAL LEATHER - "POWER SURGE" 7" [FDH]
- "Two songs from DIGITAL LEATHER. “Power Surge” is a brand new unreleased track. The B-side is an older tune called "Shattered Reflections," which has never had a proper DL release—there was a cover version of this track released on the Terror Visions full length. Limited edition of 500 copies."

DRY HUMP - "CULTURE FUCK EXPERIENCE" 7" [Shogun]
- "Debut EP by this band from Boston, MA. including ex-members of SGT. SLAUGHTER. 3 songs of wild, wild very 80's influenced punk hardcore. The more noisey hardcore. Yes, some of them songs were on the SEX CULT Demo tape so you know it's good. Screenprinted covers on top."

FED UP! - "READ BETWEEN THE LINES" 7" [Hard Press]
- Los Angeles, CA's Fed Up has a list of influences that include Infest, Siege, Lifes Halt, Negative Approach and Void, which shine through in a sound that's fast, intense and angry with plenty of blast beats and mosh parts thrown in for good measure.

TALK IS POISON - "RAGE TO INFINITY" 7" [Self Released]
- "Five shred-head hardcore tracks from Talk Is Poison, for the punks by the punx. Hand silk screened covers. Members have also played in COPOUT, WARCRY, LOOK BACK AND LAUGH, NEEDLES, BOMBS AWAY, MINDLESS MUTANT, CALIFORNIA LOVE, ANIMAL FARM, BLACK FORK."

UPDATE: #2

2nd update is a big one! Everything listed in the first post is sold out! I didn't even get into the door to the show before selling completely everything. I even had a few BAD CHOICE demo tapes kicking around that ended up selling in a heartbeat. Anyway here is a small chunk of what I have right now. Ill be at the show on Sunday at SIESTA NOUVEUX with WICCANS and NO PROBLEM. I'll have a real distro this time!

PYGMY SHREWS "You People Can Go Straight To Hell" 12" [Jack Shack]
- Snotty, mean-spirited Male/Female vocals with driving guitars. Put out a fantastic LP on Wantage a few years ago. I highly recommend you pick this up. Limited to 500 hand numbered. [LISTEN]

PAMPERS - S/T 7" [Jack Shack]
- Reverbin' punks with marbles. Stripped down punk similar to THE SPITS or even THE RAMONES I can't find any info on this band other then what is on their label's site. Limited to 322 hand numbered [LISTEN]

LADY PISS - STREAMING EP 12" [Sympathizer]
- 90's aggro post-punk which would fit the AMREP roster real well. A little bit more on the tuneful side then most noise rock bands. Members of: Dactyl, The Wayward, Fight Amp and more. [LISTEN]

HUNGER PAINS - S/T 7" [Feeble Minds/PRGNT]
- "Vinyl debut from Assault City's metallic crust 'core HUNGER PAINS. Features guitar work akin to classic metal-tinged Japanese hardcore coupled with the thunderous rhythm of 90's vegan crust, all backed with thickly layered dissonance courtesy of front-man Weston Czerkies' solo noise project SUNKEN CHEEK." [LISTEN]

MILK MUSIC "BEYOND LIVING" 12" [Perennial]
- If you don't have this yet.. why? This is the re-press that Perennial did after the band released version went Out Of Press. One of the best EP/LP's of the year and one of the best new live bands. Can't wait to hear more tunes from this three piece. FFO: Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr, Wipers. [LISTEN]

BROKEN WATER "WHET (TRIANGLE)" 12" [Perennial]
- Debut LP that has been RE-PRESSED on Perennial. Word on the street that the original label got sketchy and didn't send out records to people who mailordered. Fear not, I have a small amount of copies for your consumption. "Distorted, sludgy 90's-sounding rock & roll that sounds to me like Dinosaur Jr meets The Swirlies." Have a [LISTEN]

BROKEN WATER "PERIPHERAL STAR" EP 12" [Perennial]
- The latest release from the 3 piece. Very Swirlies sounding on this one. Both records are fantastic. [LISTEN]

THE GARY "EL CAMINO" EP 12" [Ceder Fever]
- "Much like NYC's Career Club, The Gary are a throwback to the early '80s arty post-punk, particularly the pre-reunion work of Mission Of Burma." Recorded by Steve Albini at his electrical audio studio in Chicago. [LISTEN]

VOGUE "POMPSHIT" 12" [Hardware]
- It's a small number of bands these days that actually write some witty lyrics. Or non PC. Either way this band is stirring the pot. 90's Boston hardcore by the way of Denmark. EURO IMPORT, Colour copies out of 250. [LISTEN]

OMEGAS "BLAST OF LUNACY" 12" [Hardware]
- Euro Press of one of the best LP's this year. I can't say enough good things about this record. I got a few copies on Green and White and a small amount on Black. This is worth owning multiple copies of. EURO IMPORT! These were not available to the USA. Colour copies will be sold at random.

ANNOTATIONS 7" [Hardware]
- Rippin Rock N Roll hardcore from Germany. I've been really impressed with everything Hardware has been putting out recently, and this does not disappoint! Check out these tunes.. [LISTEN]

WICCANS "SKULLDUGGERY" 12" [Katorga Works]
- KBD-style punk, from Austin TX. Yeah I'll have these at the show their playing, in which you should buy from the band. If you're unable to make it out, I'll probably still have these, or maybe not.. who knows. [LISTEN]

and a little something from Chris Colohan/High Anxiety himself (last copies of his stash):
MATURE SITUATIONS "Old Hands" 7"
BURNING LOVE Demo 7"
NIGHTBRINGER S/T 7"
EATING GLASS 7" (CC'S LAST COPY EVER! Only 1!)
CITY LIMITS CASSETTE (LTD 200)

and I have a small restock of CREEM 7"s. So If you didn't get one the first time, act fast or you'll be checkin ebay (actually.. band might be breaking up soon..). I'll also I'll have the long sold out CREEM DEMO and the RATIONAL ANIMALS LP at the Rational Animals/Raw Nerve show on TUESDAY JULY 19TH. These won't last long at all, first come, first serve. I'm going to say this now, no record will ever be more than 15 dollars. If I ever do this, it's because the wholesale cost and shipping exceeds that pricing. I will do this for the kids as long as you keep buying. I really appreciate it in end. You make your scene. See you at these shows.

Sunday July 17th, 7 PM (Show must be over by 11!)

First Arrival

I've decided to start up a distro in the grand city of Toronto. Why do it? Because no one else is. Simple as that. I want to bring music that would never see the light of day in Toronto unless someone stepped in. Sure you can mail order from a label, but that becomes costly. I'm keeping it cheap and simple. I will be bringing what I have out to shows in Toronto and updating on here what I have. No mailorder ever. So.

Current:

Crazy Spirit - Remastered Demo 12" (Quality Control HQ)
- Remastered demo by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road studios. The packaging with this is pretty amazing. Sold out in minutes online. I didn't get many copies and I know they won't last long. UK Import

Stab Demo XXX Cassette (Quality Control HQ)
- London hardcore at it's finest "Fractured minds produce the sounds of a rabid mongrel as the bars of man's self-imposed prison are rattled whilst hacking at the tomb of 80s UKHC. THIS IS A FUCK YOU" sums it up real nice. A 7" out in the near future. This is the original UK version. UK Import. [LISTEN]

CREEM - Good Riddance b/w I Hate You 7" (Katorga Works)
- From Katorga Works "Members of Nomos and Natural Law combine forces to being you the best Boston band not from Boston. The band plays early 80s style hardcore not unlike Last Rights or other Choke projects with a heavy dose of Blitz influence in there. These two songs are their newest and best material to date, with no clear winner emerging between the hardened "Good Riddance" and the anthemic B-side of "I Hate You." This is the first of a planned series of 7" singles for the band." Sold out on the label's site. [LISTEN]

With the amount of stuff I have right now, I won't be tabling just yet so get in touch for copies - brandondemarco[]gmail com

I'll be at this show on Friday. See you there!
